NO new dates - Waiting for Ross to come back from Holidays

Ok, ok we've been thrown off track and have not gone to workout in two weeks. There isn't any ex cerise...Most times after work hubby is super tired.  I'm not willing to move.

What can my reward be...I need motivation.  I need a goal.  I wear 60 lbs more then I did 5 years ago. At least 80lbs more then I did 10 years ago.

What?

There's the health issues.

  1. my breathing gets short.
  2. getting back energy
  3. the flexibility that I had in my more youthful age. Ok so that won't come back completely. 
  4. just to be fit for fit sakes
Plus we want children, and the extra weight isn't helping.

Children before 40 is on top of our list.  That leaves five years to get it all back.

aqua fit

not having wrote anything thing in almost a year I feel awful my quest for a healthier life styles has been put on hold. I want to change that.
I celebrated my first year being a nonsmoker October 30. I feel awesome!  My eating on the other hand have stayed the same.  With a meat fast behind us and a no bread on the go right now.  This habit will be harder to kick.

Since my marriage my husband diet of pasta and tons of bread took over the menu I want to bring back how I ate.  We're not talking drastic here...more fresh veg.  Taking an honest time in preparing our meals.  So many plans...

The return of this blog.  health. better living. take off the fluff.

To night my community recreation department organize an aqua fit field trip to a local swimming school.  I had heard about aqua fit before and was eager to experience a work out in pool.  Can I saw - LOVE IT!!
Our teacher had us stretching, and bouncing...laughing and singing. Yes singing to the soundtrack she had playing in the background.  If I had know that exercising with a noodle would be so damn fun I would have done it years ago.  Next week can't come fast enough.

Second Workout

This was better, thou I did not plan for a week to go by before we got back to the weight room.

This week was upper body work. My arms feel like spaghetti!

As I was telling hubby on the walk room, "I sweat opening an envolope." he barely got moist in the brow.
Tonight my sister happen to be working out as well, (she had a couple of weeks on us) and thankful she is also part of our initiative... Part current motivation, we've been disiring a healthier body image.

I've been toying with the idea of a before and after picture. Or even video tape a workout session.
Oh vanity...

Next session is this Wednesday.
We'll sleep like babies tonight

1st Day Workout with Ross

We want to get healthy, and we're going to do that together.  It's our goal for this year.

We got married last May and we had gained weight before then.  We want a long and happy healthy life together.

I weight 265-270 lbs.  I'd like to take off 70 - 100 lbs in a steady pace that will be good for me.

My legs are crazy shaky, and I sweated so much - gross but necessary.

I have a feeling this is the beginning of something life changing....ok ok its just a gym.

and we're gonna love it!!!
